Ms. Geraldine Staton Obituary Speed, North Carolina Ms. Geraldine Gray Staton, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 26, 2016 at the Mildred Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy King officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived by two daughters Karen Staton and Tameka Staton both of Tarboro, North Carolina, two sisters Lossie Chism of Gardner, North Carolina and Woodie Knight of Tarboro, North Carolina, seven brothers David E, Gray (Alice), Johnny M. Gray (Clara), Eric W. Gray. Roy A. Gray (Cozetta) Bobby O. Gray all of Tarboro, North Carolina, Curtis J. Gray (Diane) of Altanta, Ga., and William R. Gray (Veda) of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Two grandchildren Shanequa Staton and Rimekia Staton, four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held Tuesday 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. The family will receive friends at White's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. These services have been entrusted to Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. of Tarboro, North Carolina.
