Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at St. James Temple in Tarboro, N.C. with Rev. Cornell Joyner officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery in Tarboro, N.C. She is survived by a son, Willis Mallory, Raleigh, N.C., daughter, Nikki Eason (Vinson), Princeville, N.C., two grandchildren, DaShawn T. Edwards and Nykayla E. Eason, two brothers Verneal Lee Mallory (Carolyn), Riverdale, Md., Robert Basemore, Jr., Tarboro, N.C., seven sisters, Dr. Loistine Odessa Mallory, Forestville, Md., Lucille Farmer, Annie Greene, Tarboro, N.C., Catherine Knight, Baltimore, Md, Mary Foster (Burell) Hampton, Va., Alice Lawton, Newport News, Va., Delores Farmer (James III), Rocky Mount, N.C., and a host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. of Tarboro.
