Funeral services will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 at New Morning Star Church (225 South Glendale Avenue)Rocky Mount, N.C.at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Eddie Wayne Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar View Cemetery, Enfield,N.C. She is survived by one daughter; Penelope Vaughan(Neuward)of Rocky Mount, N.C.; two sons; James Rogers, Jr.(Monica)of Charlotte, N.C.; Dr.William Plummer Rogers (Tiffany)of Whitsett, N.C.two grandchildren; Claire Rogers, Ivey Rogers both of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister; Odessa Thornton McWilliams of Enfield, N.C.; three step brothers; Robert Gary and Elquient Gary both of Enfield, N.C.; Estee Gary of Newport News, Va. and a host of other relatives and friends.
