Services for Mr. Howell will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00PM at Mayo Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Walter Cherry, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Dancy Cemetery, Princeville, North Carolina. He is survived by two sons, Phillip Howell Jr., Charleston, West Virginia and Randall Howell, Tarboro, North Carolina, his father John Walter Howell Sr.,Tarboro, North Carolina Three brothers Ronald Howell, Tarboro, North Carolina, John Walter Howell Jr. Burtonville, Maryland, Bryan Howell (Erica), Suitland Maryland. Three sisters Joyce Howell Whitehead, Tarboro, North Carolina, Carol Howell, Tarboro, NC, Valerie Howell Joyner, Tarboro, North Carolina. One grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A public Viewing and Visitation will be held on Friday evening March 19, 2021 from 2:00-6:00PM at Dickens Funeral Service, Inc. Tarboro, North Carolina. We will be following the COVID-19 restrictions in Social distancing and wearing of mask.
