Rev. Gray,Sr. Obituary Greenville, N.C. Rev. Dr.Clarence B. Gray,Sr.,82,died Monday November 19,2012. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 24,2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sycamore Hill Missionary Baptist Church (1001 Hooker Road Greenville,N.C.) with the Dr. J.R.Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Crandol Family Cemetery. He retired as the Assistant Superintendent of Pitt County Schools and was Pastor of Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and Triumph Missionary Baptist Church both of Washington,N.C. He is survived by his wife Aretha Frazier Gray of the home;two daughters Jacquette Gray Artis of Greenville and Hattie Estella Gray of Tarboro. One son Clarence B. Gray, Jr. of Raleigh. One brother John Henry Gray of Norfolk,Virginia. A viewing will be held from 2-4 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Service,Inc. and a wake will be held 6-8 p.m. at Triumph Missionary Baptist Church 7874 U.S. Highway 264 East,Washington,N.C.
