Rev. David Pippen, 85, of Tarboro, North Carolina, transitioned on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at his residence. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 12 noon at Whites Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 3679 NC Hwy 122 N Tarboro, North Carolina, with Bishop Clinton Sherrod presiding and Rev. Alton Adkins, Eulogist. Interment will be at the Pippen Family Cemetery, Conetoe, North Carolina. Rev. Pippen is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Pippen of Greenville, North Carolina. Two grandchildren, Victoria Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Christian Williams of Greenville, North Carolina. Two siblings Allen Ray Pippen, of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Elizabeth Sumpter, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two bonus children, two bonus grandchildren. Special neighbors, Carlton Brown and Sharon Cofield along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A Public Viewing will be held one hour before the service.
