Rev. Sherrod Obituary Princeville, North Carolina Rev. Henry Arthur (Dicky Boy) Sherrod,67,died June 16,2016 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital of Tarboro, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at White's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Speed, N.C. with Rev. Tommy King officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Bettie Birth Sherrod of the home, his mother, Ms.Della Sherrod of Speed, N.C.,three sons, Ricky Green of Dunbar, N.C.,David Sherrod of Cheraw, S.C. and Timothy Sherrod of the home, four daughters, Priscilla Pettaway of Virginia Beach, Va., Cynthia Shaw of Durham, N.C., Chandra 'Shan' Jenkins of Wilson, N.C., and Kimberly Sherrod of Greensboro, N.C., three brothers, Cornellous (Annie) Sherrod of Princeville, N.C.,Nathaniel (Cheryl) Sherrod of Waldorf, Maryland and James Aaron Sherrod of Speed, N.C.three sisters, Mittie (Willie) Staton of Durham, N.C., Vernell (Curtis) Jordan of Tarboro, N.C., Nonnie (Perry) Roberts of Columbus, Georgia, three grand daughters, Alexis C. Pegues of Wilson, North Carolina, Kameshia and Jakira Pettaway , Jarnarious Pettaway and Keion Pettaway all of Virginia Beach, Va., one uncle, David Sherrod of Plainfield, N. J., a host of neices , nephews, relatives and friends.
