Rev. Whitehead Obituary Pinetops, N.C. Rev. William Alfred Whitehead(AKA as meatman),69,died April 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday May 4,2013 at the Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Battle officiating and Bishop Rocknie Jenkins presiding. Burial will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery near Farmville,N.C. He is survived by his wife Rosa Ann Davis Whitehead of the home,daughter Lahoma Ann Whitehead Horne of Pinetops,one grandson Joshua Earl Whitehead,two sisters Lenora Smith of Baltimore,Maryland and Geraldine Battle of New York,three brothers George Whitehead (Ann) of Baltimore,Maryland,Jake Battle and Eddie Battle both of New York. A host of other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held Friday 2-5 p.m. at Dickens Funeral Services,Inc. of Tarboro and a Wake 7-8 p.m. at Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
