Roosevelt Lewis Jr. was born to Mary Helen Knight Lewis and the late Roosevelt Lewis Sr. in Edgecombe County in Pinetops, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Angela Lewis of the home, his mother Mary Helen Lewis of Pinetops, North Carolina, two sons Martinez Lewis (Mishael ) and Bryan Lewis both of Raleigh, North Carolina, two daughters Montrea Council, Tarboro, North Carolina, and Tiffany( Ronald) Raleigh, North Carolina. One brother William Earl Bullock of Litchfield Pk Arizona, Four sisters Barbara Jean Totten(Odell), Joyce Hussey (Larry), Mary Catherine Lewis all of Pinetops, North Carolina, Margie Sherrod, Hartford Connecticut, two step children, Raleigh, North Carolina, ten grand children, three great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
