Samuel Cooper Obituary Mr. Samuel Lee Cooper, 68, transitioned on Monday April 17, 2023 at ECU Hospital, Tarboro, North Carolina. Services will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023 at 2:00pm at Dickens Funeral Service Chapel, 3690 Highway 111 North Tarboro, North Carolina. Rev. Roy Gray, officiating. As a request of the family there will not be a public viewing. He is survived by one son Monte (Angela) Cooper Rocky Mount, North Carolina, two daughters Teresa (Tremayne) Pittman, Tarboro, North Carolina and Crystal (Patrick) Mwaura, Wendell, North Carolina. Three brothers, Elton Cooper, Tarboro, North Carolina, Thomas Cooper, New Jersey, Salmon (Bessie) Cooper, Tarboro, North Carolina. Four sisters Viola Hill, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Rose Shaw, of South Carolina, Brenda Parker, Tarboro, North Carolina and Melodine Cooper, Tarboro, North Carolina. We will continue to follow the COVID guideline and ask that all participants wear a mask in attendance to the service.
