Sarah Lawrence Obituary Ms. Sarah Moten Lawrence, 96, of Tarboro, North Carolina died Tuesday June 18, 2019. Funeral Service will be held 2:00p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Davis Street, Tarboro, North Carolina with Rev. Robert C. Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery. She is survived by three sons, James Lawrence (Alice) Bronx, New York, William Lawrence (Cynthia) Edgewood MD, Frank Lawrence (Sharon) Bronx, New York. Two daughters, Sarah Wishop (Jerry) Scotland Neck, North Carolina, Ola Pittman (Bernard) Tarboro, North Carolina. One brother Curtis Moten of New Jersey and one sister Beulah Kearney, Baltimore MD. Thirty grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
