Vernice Lyons Obituary Ms. Vernice (Maxine) Lyons 77 died Friday February 12, 2021 at The Lodge Nursing Facility, Rocky Mount, NC. Chapel Services for Ms. Lyons will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 1:00PM with Rev. Jonah Walston, Eulogist She is survived by one precious daughter Benita Lyons-Giles (Tony) Camp Springs, Md., two sons Charles Richard Lyons (Gwendolyn) Chesapeake, Va., Fernando Lyons (Shevelle) of Harrisburg, PA., five brothers Edward Bernard Lyons, Samuel Lyons, Leroy Lyons of Tarboro, North Carolina, Charles Ronald Lyons (JoAnn) Port Arthur, TX., Richard Lyons (Estelle) Clinton Md. Two sisters Clara Mae Cherry, Tarboro, North Carolina, and Carolyn Juanita Lancaster, Washington, DC. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 17, 2021 prior to the service from 10:00AM till 1:00PM.
