Wilbert Witherspoon Obituary Mr. Wilbert Witherspoon 78, of Tarboro, North Carolina transitioned on Sunday October 29, 2023. Services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday November 4, 2023 at Dickens Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Roy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. He is survived by his fiance' Harriet Ann Staton, Tarboro, NC, four sons Richard (Mary Ann) Staton, Jr., Speed, NC, Mark Witherspoon, Frank Witherspoon and Elijah Witherspoon all of Washington, D.C. Other suvivors includes, Amelia Holladay, Miami, Fl, Almeta Witherspoon, Manning S.C., Ester Montgomery, Greenville, S.C., Richard (Tabbie) Witherspoon, Evangelist Clara (Johnny) Hilton , both of Manning S.C., Marvin (Penny) Witherspoon, Sumter S.C. and Leroy (Trudy) Witherspoon, Manning S.C. In Laws: Emmanuel (Claretha) Harris, James (Dorothy) Lee Burston, Janice Hines, Casey (Joyce) Harris, Melvin (Earlene) Burston, Four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
