Mr. Ernest Lee Wheeler 67, passed away on Tuesday November 29, 2022  at Adventist Health Care White Oak Medical Center, Silver Spring, Maryland.   Services will be held on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 11:00AM at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church 4455 NC 33 West, Tarboro North Carolina. Burial will follow in the East Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Tarboro, North Carolina.

Treasured memories of life and love will remain in the hearts of his family, his wife Marcia, Tarboro NC, five sons Jevon M. Wheeler, Tarboro, NC, Mathis M. Wheeler (Marie), Woodbridge, Va., Anthony D. Fletcher, White Plains, MD, Maurice A. Fletcher, Washington, DC and Jamaal M. Barnes, District Heights, MD. Six grandchildren, Caden Wheeler, Jayden Wheeler, McKayla Fletcher, Cayleigh Queen, Caia Fletcher and Amir Fletcher, twelve siblings, George Bullock (Gladys), Tarboro, NC, Carrie W. Staton, Bowie MD, Gloria G. Wheeler, Dora W. Manning both of Tarboro, NC, Lily W. Lowe (Terence) Enfield, NC, Earl Mercer Sr. (Roxanne), Irvington, NJ, Geneva M. Bathon, James L. Wheeler, William L. Wheeler and Curtis L. Wheeler all of Tarboro, NC, Paul E. Wheeler (Trinia) Pinetops, NC, and Yvette D. Wheeler, Princeville, NC. One stepsister , Edna P. Lane, Elizabeth NJ, one aunt Maniza Davis, Tarboro, NC, two brotherly cousins, Walter L. "Pap" Whitaker (Rosetta) and Roosevelt Bullock both of Tarboro, NC, one mother- in -law, Lillie M. Hagans, Tarboro, NC, brothers-and sisters -in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

A Public Visitation will be held on Friday December 9, 2022 from 2:00PM-6:00PM at Dickens Funeral Service Inc. We will continue follow the COVID guidelines and ask that you wear masks at both services.
