Gladys Mae Nix Wilkins

Ms. Gladys Mae Nix Wilkins, 84, died December 16, 2020 at Vidant Edgecombe Hospital, Tarboro, North Carolina. A Graveside Service for Ms. Wilkins will be held 1:00 on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Salem Chapel Cemetary with Rev. Jonah Walston, Eulogist.

She leaves to reminisce and reflect on her life, two sons, Oliver William (Angela) Atlanta, Georgia and Joseph Nix (Sadie) Williamston, North Carolina. Four daughters, Sandra Whitehead (Randolph) Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Therabelle Nix Macklin (Mack) Hampton, Virginia, Kathy Nix Little, Tarboro, North Carolina, and Beatrice Nix, Buffalo, New York. Three Sisters, Ora Lee Pettit, Tarboro, North Carolina, Geraldine Batchelor (Pete) Tarboro, North Carolina, and Mary B. Cofield, Tarboro, North Carolina. Eleven grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A public viewing will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Salem Chapel Cemetary one hour prior to the Graveside Service.

We will follow the COVID-19 guidelines and you are asked that masks be worn for both services. The Graveside Service will be Live-Stream, visit Joe Willie Dickens Facebook page and request to be a friend, then click on the Dickens Funeral Home Emblem and scroll down to view.
