Mrs. Lucy Walston Pope, 91, of Tarboro, North Carolina gained her wings on Saturday, August 1, 2020 . Graveside services will be held on Saturday August 08,, 2020 at 11:00AM in Greenlawn Cemetery, Princeville, North Carolina. Elder Kenneth Lucas will be officiating. This service will be Live Stream and you can view the service by requesting to become a friend on Joe Willie Dickens facebook page. We are continuing to follow the COVID-19 guidelines so masks are required to be worn at both services.

She is survived by one daughter/grandaughter, Tonya M. Wright, Tarboro, North Carolina, Lemmesha Walston-Weiner, Williamsburg, Va., Lymn Walston, of Hawaii, Charmeka and Charmaine Hicks, Newport New, Va. , two great grandchildren Devin Edwards and Kayla Goodman, Sumter, South Carolina, one great-great grandson, Jamir Edwards, Sumter South Carolina, a sister, Nancy Lyas (Rainey) Charlotte, North Carolina.

A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday August 07, 2020 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM .
