Dr. Margaret Knight entered into eternal rest on Sunday November 13, 2022. Service will be held on Sunday November 20, 2022 at Pines Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Pinetops, N.C. at 2:00pm with Rev. Malcolm E. Lewis, Eulogist and Rev. Walter Cherry, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Pinetops, North Carolina.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Retired Sheriff James L. Knight Sr., one son, James L. Knight, Jr. (Benita ), Rocky Mount, NC; a daughter Jamina L. Green (Richard) , Macclesfield, NC; four grandsons, Jayden R. Green and Joshua R. Green of Macclesfield, NC, James L. Knight,III and Bruce Knight, Rocky Mount, NC, two granddaughters Sarai R. Knight of Rocky Mount, NC and Zaria Green, Raleigh, NC, all the loves of her life, four brothers Bernard Sharpe (Patricia), Calvin Hill (Carolyn) all of Tarboro, NC, Curmilus Herring (Mary) of Battleboro, NC; Apostle William Allen Sharpe (Apostle Nikita) of Macclesfield, NC, three sisters: Yvonne Dickens of Tarboro, NC, Molly Sharpe, Pinetops, NC, Alethea Ellis (James) Wilson, NC, seven aunts: Dorothy Dupree, Clara Cobb (Charles), Delores Williams (Thomas) , Sarah Dickens of Pinetops, NC, Mable Black of Tarboro, NC, Geraldine Dowd of Rocky Mount, NC and Sally Dickens of Wilson, NC. Three uncles Edward Earl Dickens (Bettie), Willie Dickens (Janet) and Calvin Dickens (Lisa) all of Pinetops, NC, four sisters-in-law; Frances Dupree, Macclesfield, NC, Geraldine Wooten, of Rocky Mount, NC, Wilhemina Richards of Durham, NC, Martha Johnson of Tarboro, NC, Margie Mercer, Wilson, NC, one brother-in-law William Knight (Ernestine) of Rocky Mount, NC and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
A Public Viewing will be held at Dickens Funeral Service on Saturday November 19, 2022 from 2:00pm til 6:00pm
