Elder Robert Morris, 80, passed away on Friday January 1, 2021. The funeral service for Elder Robert Morris will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Leggett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Leggett, North Carolina, eulogist Rev. Edward Hooker. The walk through viewing will be held on Friday from 2-6 pm at the Dickens Funeral Service Chapel.

He is survived by one son, Reggie Herring, Tarboro, North Carolina, and 6 daughters, Jackie Hitchcock, Virginia, Annette Harrell Bennett (Michael), Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jeannette Harrell Martin (Victor), Spring Hope, North Carolina, Shelby White Dolberry (Otis), Tarboro, North Carolina, Tonya Shaffer, New Jersey, Katrina Herring, Tarboro, North Carolina. SIx brothers, Fred Morris (Lenoir), Raleigh, North Carolina, James Draughn (Erma), Virginia, Dennis Morris (Susie), Princeville, North Carolina, Rufus Morris, Leggett, North Carolina, Larry Morris (Lidia), Leggett, North Carolina, Antonio Morris, Tarboro, North Carolina. Seven sisters, Willow Adkins, Garner, North Carolina, Gloria Outen, Cary, North Carolina, Maxine Higgs, Princeville, North Carolina, Mattie Hunter, Knightdale, North Carolina, Zelda Seagraves, Knightdale, North Carolina, Barbara Paige, Robersonville, North Carolina, Minnie Baines (Raymond), Princeville, North Carolina, and Barbara Page (Fredrick), Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
