Odell Higgs Obituary

Ms. Odell Higgs, 95, died Thursday June 18, 2020 at Prodigy Transitional Rehab of Tarboro, North Carolina. Services for Ms. Higgs will take place on Sunday June 21, 2020 in the chapel at Dickens Funeral Home with Rev. Roosevelt Higgs, officiating. Burial will follow at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Tarboro, North Carolina. We will be adhering to COVID-19 restrictions for this service, service will be LIVE STREAM for other family members and friends on our Joe Willie Dickens facebook page at 1:00 PM.

She is survived by one daughter, Hilda Morris, Tarboro, North Carolina, three sons Lewis Edward Higgs, Pinetops, North Carolina, Milton Earl Higgs, Princeville, North Carolina Rev. Roosevelt Higgs, Speed, North Carolina. One sister, Helen Cofield Glass, Princeville, North Carolina and one step sister, Arabelle Stancil, Garner, North Carolina. Eight grandchildren, several great and great -great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
