Ruby Marie Wheeler

Mrs. Ruby Marie Wheeler, 90, of Tarboro, North Carolina died September 4, 2020 at Vidant Edgecombe hospital, Tarboro, North Carolina.  Graveside Services for Mrs. Wheeler will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 12 noon at East lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Wayne Hines officiating. 

She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by five  (5) sons, George Bullock (Gladys) Princeville, North Carolina, James Wheeler, William Lee Wheeler, Curtis Lee Wheeler of Tarboro, North Carolina and Paul Wheeler (Trina) Pinetops, North Carolina. Two daughters Edna Pearl Lane, Elizabeth New Jersey and Yvette Wheeler, Princeville, North Carolina, a host of grandchildren , great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She was also blessed with two stepsons, Earl T. Mercer, New Jersey and Ernest L. Wheeler, Washington, DC. Five step daughters, Carrie Staton,Bowie Maryland, Gloria Wheeler, Dora Manning, Geneva Bathon of Tarboro, North Carolina and Lily Lowe (Terence) Enfield North Carolina.

A public viewing and visitation will take place at  Dickens Funeral Service  on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM. We will follow the COVID-19 guidelines in the distancing and masks will be required to be worn at both services.
