Mrs. Shirley Flowers, 79, of Tarboro North Carolina died November 30, 2018 at Edgecombe Health and Rehabilitation, Tarboro, North Carolina. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon on  Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Cherry Chapel Missionary Baptist church, 102 US 301 S Elm City., N.C. (Wilson County) with Rev. Jimmy Bynum eulogist. Burial will follow in the Whitehead & Flowers Cemetery 103 Clearwater Lane, Tarboro, N.C. 

She is survived by a sister and two brothers, one daughter, Jackie Flowers of Norfolk, Va., one daughte in law Wilma Battle of Pa., six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother in-law James Earl "Preacher" Flowers (Portia) of Tarboro, NC and one aunt, Dorothy Hinton, Rocky Mount, N.C. 

A viewing will be at 11:00 AM to 12 noon prior to the service on Saturday.
